DAILY BIBLE READINGSAbout
Christadelphians (Greek for 'Brothers in Christ') are a Bible-based community of believers, patterned after the first century ecclesias (assemblies or congregations), who wait for the return of our Lord Jesus Christ. Our community shares a common collection of fundamental Bible teachings 'concerning the Kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ'. Our beliefs are based on good Bible reading, study and meditation and we hold the Holy Bible as being completely God inspired (God 'breathed') and without error, except for some translation and transcription errors. Our beliefs are very different from mainstream Christianity and we urge you to examine why this is so, and to compare what you find on this site with what you read in the Bible.

A brief summary of our beliefs are listed below.
● The Bible is the only true message from God and was entirely given by him.
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness
- 2 Timothy 3v16
● There is only one God, the Father, who made the world and has a great purpose for it.
For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else.
- Isaiah 45v18
● The Holy Spirit is God's own power; by which He works out His own holy will.
And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.
- Luke 1v35
● Jesus is the Son of God. He is also Son of man through being born of Mary.
When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?
- Matthew 16v13
● Jesus overcame all temptation and died to save his followers from sin and death.
Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.
For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
- Hebrews 4v14-15
● Jesus was raised from the dead by God. 1 Corinthians 15:3 Later he ascended to heaven but will return.
For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures
- 1 Corinthians 15v3
Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.
- Acts 1v11
● When he returns he will raise and judge the responsible dead and give immortality to the faithful.
I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom
- 2 Timothy 4v1
● He will be King over the restored Kingdom of God in Israel and over the whole world.
Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.
And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:
Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.
- Acts 3v19-21
● His will give immortal life to his followers , who will help him to bring everlasting righteousness and peace worldwide.
Who will render to every man according to his deeds:
To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:
But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath
- Romans 2v6-8
And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.
- Revelation 5v10
● The devil is not a supernatural being but is another name for sin, destroyed only in Christ.
Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil
- Hebrews 2v14
● Salvation involves covering from sin through Christ, and freedom from sin and death at his coming.
Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.
- 1 Timothy 2v4-6
● When man dies he ceases to exist. Ecclesiastes 9:5 The only hope of life is by the resurrection at Christ's return.
And have hope toward God, which they themselves also allow, that there shall be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and unjust.
- Acts 24v15
● Belief in God's Promises about the Kingdom of God and the work of Jesus Christ is essential.
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
- Hebrews 11v6
And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
- John 17v3
● Repentance and baptism into Christ (by immersion in water) and daily following of Christ are all necessary for ultimate salvation.
He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
- Mark 16v16
The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ
- 1 Peter 3v21
