21. Love one another with a pure heart, fervently.
A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. - John 13v34
Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another - Romans 12v10
And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour. - Ephesians 5v2
And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness. - Colossians 3v14
But as touching brotherly love ye need not that I write unto you: for ye yourselves are taught of God to love one another. - 1 Thessalonians 4v9
Let brotherly love continue. - Hebrews 13v1
Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently - 1 Peter 1v22
And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins. - 1 Peter 4v8
We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.
Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.
Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?
My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.
And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him. - 1 John 3v14-19
22. Brethren not to exercise lordship over one another, the greatest to be as the youngest, he that is chief as he that doth serve, Christ’s example the illustration of what is meant.
But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant. - Matthew 23v11
But ye shall not be so: but he that is greatest among you, let him be as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that doth serve.
For whether is greater, he that sitteth at meat, or he that serveth? is not he that sitteth at meat? but I am among you as he that serveth. - Luke 22v26-27
Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am.
If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another's feet.
For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you.
Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him.
If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them. - John 13v13-17
23. Not to be angry without righteous cause, and to take care lest anger even in that case lead to sin.
But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire. - Matthew 5v22
Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath - Ephesians 4v26
But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth. - Colossians 3v8
24. In case of breach, to seek reconciliation and exercise forgiveness to the utmost extent.
Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift. - Matthew 5v24
So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses. - Matthew 18v35
Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. - Colossians 3v13
25. In case of sin (known or heard of) speak not of it to others, but tell the offending brother of the matter between thee and him alone, with a view to recovery.
Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother. - Matthew 18v15
Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted. - Galatians 6v1
Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him;
Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins. - James 5v19-20
26. Grudge not, judge not, condemn not one another.
Judge not, that ye be not judged. - Matthew 7v1
Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way. - Romans 14v13
Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God. - 1 Corinthians 4v5
Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of his brother, and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge. - James 4v11
27. Shut not your ear to the needy, relieve the afflicted.
As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith. - Galatians 6v10

28. To seek not your own welfare only, nor bear your own burdens merely, but have regard to those of others.
Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. - Philippians 2v4
Let no man seek his own, but every man another's wealth. - 1 Corinthians 10v24
Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ. - Galatians 6v2
29. Be of one mind, and follow the things that make for peace.
Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment. - 1 Corinthians 1v10
Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you. - 2 Corinthians 13v11
Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous -
1 Peter 3v8
Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another. - Romans 14v19
30. Confess your faults one to another.
Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. - James 5v16
D. CONCERNING THE STRANGER
31. Let your light shine before men.
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. - Matthew 5v16
Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.
But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven. - Matthew 10v32-33
Hold forth the Word of Life.
Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain. - Philippians 2v16
Say to the perishing, Come.
And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely. - Revelation 22v17
32. Agree with your adversary quickly, submitting even to wrong for the sake of peace.
Agree with thine adversary quickly, whiles thou art in the way with him; lest at any time the adversary deliver thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and thou be cast into prison. - Matthew 5v25
Now therefore there is utterly a fault among you, because ye go to law one with another. Why do ye not rather take wrong? why do ye not rather suffer yourselves to be defrauded? - 1 Corinthians 6v7
If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.
Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. - Romans 12v18-19
33. Do good to all men as opportunity may allow. The Samaritan succoured a stranger in distress: "Go thou and do likewise." If even thine enemy hunger, feed him, if he thirst, give him drink.
As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith. - Galatians 6v10
But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you,
Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you. - Luke 6v27-28
And he said, He that shewed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do thou likewise. - Luke 10v37

35. Recompense to no man evil for evil.
Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men. - Romans 12v17
See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men. - 1 Thessalonians 5v15
render not evil for evil or railing for railing, but contrariwise blessing.
Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing. - 1 Peter 3v9
bless, and curse not.
Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not. - Romans 12v14
36. Resist not evil, compel not the restitution of stolen goods: avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath.
But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.
And if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him have thy cloak also. - Matthew 5v39-40
And unto him that smiteth thee on the one cheek offer also the other; and him that taketh away thy cloak forbid not to take thy coat also.
Give to every man that asketh of thee; and of him that taketh away thy goods ask them not again. - Luke 6v29-30

37. Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

38. As ye would that men should do unto you, do ye also so to them.
Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets. - Matthew 7v12
And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise. - Luke 6v31
39. Walk not as other Gentiles walk.
This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind - Ephesians 4v17
have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness.
Be not ye therefore partakers with them.
For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:
(For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)
Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.
And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. - Ephesians 5v7-11
be not conformed to this world.
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. - Romans 12v2
come out from among them and be ye separate.
Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you. - 2 Corinthians 6v17
40. Walk honestly toward them that are without, give none occasion to the adversary to speak reproachfully, be blameless and harmless, as the sons of God in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation.
That ye may walk honestly toward them that are without, and that ye may have lack of nothing. - 1 Thessalonians 4v12
I will therefore that the younger women marry, bear children, guide the house, give none occasion to the adversary to speak reproachfully. - 1 Timothy 5v14
That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world - Philippians 2v15
